Come along and join me in my Farnsfield workshop to get all festive! You’ll make this very sweet Christmas tree tealight that sits upon its own ceramic base. We’ll start with white earthenware clay and I shall guide you every step of the way. Once we have made the tealight you can use the coloured slips to adorn the surface, removing small holes where you’d like the light to shine through. This relaxed 2hr workshop includes the clay, decorating coloured slips, two firings, the glazes and light refreshments, and your ceramics will be ready for collection after 2-4 weeks. There are plenty of places to park on Milldale close, thank you. I will always treat your ceramics with the upmost care, however on the odd occasion a slight crack may appear, even on the best made piece. I will do everything in my power to avoid this. There is a tradition amongst potters, that during a kiln firing, it is always worth praying to the ‘Kiln Gods’!
