Christmas Street Scene Tealight Workshop

Service Description

Come along and join me in my Farnsfield workshop to get all festive! You’ll make this whimsical street scene, each house adorned with windows and doors creating its own personality. We’ll start with white earthenware clay and I shall guide you every step of the way. Once the house fronts have been made and attached to the base, we can add the tealight holder. You can then choose how you'd like to decorate your houses - simply using the white of the clay and highlighting some yellow windows, or a bolder more colourful approach, it's entirely up to you! This relaxed 2hr workshop includes the clay, decorating coloured slips, two firings, the glazes and light refreshments, and your ceramics will be ready for collection after 2-4 weeks. There are plenty of places to park on Milldale close, thank you. I will always treat your ceramics with the upmost care, however on the odd occasion a slight crack may appear, even on the best made piece. I will do everything in my power to avoid this. There is a tradition amongst potters, that during a kiln firing, it is always worth praying to the ‘Kiln Gods’!
