Five Christmas Decorations

Service Description

Come along and join me in my Farnsfield workshop to get all festive! This relaxed 2hr workshop will give you the opportunity to make a selection of five 2D Christmas decorations. I will guide you through the rolling of the clay and the choice of coloured slips, and then demonstrate the variety of techniques and stamps that you can choose from. You can then create your own decorations, whether a matching set or each one unique (photos on their way when I take them out of the kiln!). This workshop includes the clay, decorating coloured slips, two firings, the glazes and light refreshments, and your ceramics will be ready for collection after 2-4 weeks. There are plenty of places to park on Milldale close, thank you. I will always treat your ceramics with the upmost care, however on the odd occasion a slight crack may appear, even on the best made piece. I will do everything in my power to avoid this. There is a tradition amongst potters, that during a kiln firing, it is always worth praying to the ‘Kiln Gods’!
